Old Fashioned Cooked Soap For The Whole Family

Soap is not all the same. Most store bought soaps are detergent based - yes - detergents. The same class of cleansers that make up dishwasher and laundry detergent. They have their place in our lives - but certainly not on our bodies.

DELTA SOAPERY soaps are all handmade in small batches. In fact, each batch makes 8 bars of soap! Yep! Just 8.

Our soap making went from family use to friends dropping by to pick up soaps to people wanting our soaps to be shipped to them. So here is a website where you can order our unique soaps.

Our inventory is low because we do not stockpile and do not sell a soap before it’s properly cured.

Lard, tallow, coconut oil, olive oil, distilled water, goats milk, lye, sugar & salt.

Ingredients you can pronounce. Natural ingredients. Natural colorants such as clays and micas. Milks including goats milk and buttermilk. Fats and oils, sugar and salt. Distilled water and sometimes honey, oats, sand, clays, essential oils and fragrance oils. All cooked together in recipes that yield a hard, long-lasting bar of pure soap. Never harsh, always gentle.

Pure Essential Oils & Fragrance Oils

Safe fragrances used in the correct amounts as recommended by the INFS. We pick scents that will last from the first use all the down to the last little bit of the soap.

Lard & Tallow

Natural fats that are deodorized, clean, pure and perfect for making creamy soaps.

Coconut Oil & Olive Oil

Plant based oils that make beautiful soaps.

Clays & Sand

Cleaned Delta Clay that is unique to the Mississippi Delta. Colorant clays that are natural and impart beautiful colors to the soap. Cleaned fine Delta sand.

Local Honey

Honey from the hives of a family that lives 5 miles down the road.

Goats Milk or Buttermilk

Whichever the recipe calls for is what we use.
