Cold process soap are made by combining fats and lye, pouring into a mold and waiting 72 hours for the saponification process to happen. In hot process soap, the saponification action happens in the cooking pot before it’s put into the mold. This picture is hot process soap in the cooking pot ready to be scented, colored and molded.

Properly cured soap that lasts! We sell no soap before its time.
We properly cure all of our soaps before they leave. The soaps are made, dated and put into our curing cabinet in order to harden further. Some soaps are ready in 4 weeks, while others take 2 months depending upon the recipe. Proper curing ensures a long lasting bar of soap.
